Just one month after splitting up with rapper Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner (22) has been spending some serious time with another famous rapper, the one and only Drake (33). According to People, Drake is very close to the family and the two have been friends for a long time. But, People also says the two have moved beyond friendship to romance. Kylie attended Drake’s 33rd birthday party last week in LA and she was also at his Halloween party a few days later. Sources claim Jenner stayed “super late.” Other insiders have denied the notion that the duo have anything brewing in terms of a relationship, that they remain just friends, that perhaps Drake is just providing Kylie with some “comfort” after her recent split. As far as Kylie and Travis are concerned, both remain focused on their daughter Stormi and are supposedly on good terms despite the split. Let’s see what transpires in the coming weeks between the two before jumping to any premature conclusions, but something definitely could be cooking. As of November 3rd, Faze Jarvis has been permanently banned from playing Fortnite. The ban cited his flagrant use of an aimbot in the Solos Battle Royale mode.

Jarvis has been making YouTube videos about Fortnite for over a year that have garnered a following of nearly two million subscribers. He has not been subtle about hiding his cheat software. Montage video of him using the aimbot to destroy his competition was removed from his YouTube page, but not before it had been captured and preserved by the Fortnite staff. Check it out here.

Jarvis released an apology video on his YouTube channel where he is seen nearly in tears. “It didn’t even cross my mind to think that I could be banned for life on Fortnite for those videos,” said Jarvis. “I should have paid more attention to the community rules and the TOS (terms of service) of Fortnite.” Here is his apology video.

Epic, publisher of Fortnight, has a zero tolerance policy for cheating, and it is very unlikely they will repeal Jarvis’ ban.

With the growing popularity of podcasting in the modern connected world, Netflix has found a clever way to integrate one into a series. It’s called “The Only Podcast Left” and it will serve as a fictional companion to the show “Daybreak,” an apocalyptic zombie series. “The Only Podcast Left” takes place in the environment of the show and is a fictional, scripted podcast, in contrast to the real, non-scripted, more free flowing ones we’re accustomed to. It will feature a group of teenagers who are “surviving” the apocalypse and documenting their experience. The idea is to build a community around the series as a place for die-hard fans to gather – sort of like how “Breaking Bad” would have a sit down after the show called “Talking Bad” to dissect an episode. Of course, you have to be into the show to enjoy the podcasts. Netflix already has companion podcasts for some of its content, including a behind-the-scenes show about “Stranger Things,” and another called “You Can’t Make This Up” about how Netflix filmmakers create their true crime dramas. “The Only Podcast Left” will be available for streaming November 7th through December 12th on Spotify exclusively, then will open broadly to other streaming platforms. After reports on Tuesday that HBO had scrapped a “Game of Thrones” spinoff, they announced on Wednesday that “House Of The Dragon” has been confirmed. It will be a prequel to GOT with 10 episodes based on George R.R. Martin’s book “Fire & Blood.” The series will take place 300 years prior to the events of GOT and will depict the stories of the Targaryen kings who had been the rulers of Westeros. According to HBO, Miguel Sapochnik and Ryan Condal will partner as show runners, with both also poised to work as executive producers alongside Martin and Vince Gerardis. Sapochnik directed six episodes of GOT including “Battle of the Bastards,” which is IMDB’s highest-rated episode. He will direct the “House of the Dragon” pilot. These announcements brought tremendous joy to franchise fans. We’ll have the launch date when it’s announced. New York Jets franchise quarterback Sam Darnold was supposed to have a breakout season this year under offensive guru Adam Gase. That idea is now on hold for a few weeks. The Jets announced Darnold will miss Monday night’s game against the Cleveland Browns because of mononucleosis and he’s likely to miss more games this month as he recovers.

Mono is a tricky thing for athletes because it severely dehydrates the body and significantly lowers energy levels. Darnold will get the best possible treatment, so it’s possible he’ll be able to return faster than us common folk would.  Trever Siemian, formerly of the Broncos, will step as quarterback in the interim.

Hiding under the bad Darnold news was Le’Veon Bell going for an MRI on his shoulder and the health uncertainty of pro-bowl middle linebacker CJ Mosley. If both cannot play Monday night, in addition to Darnold, the Jets will be in for a rough evening against a desperate Browns team that was blown out in their opener. But wait, it gets worse. The Jets next five games are at New England, at Philly, home verses Dallas, then home verses New England. The Jets could easily be 0-7 in the blink of an eye and Adam Gase could be fighting with reporters come mid-October. Might be time to cancel the football season in New York as the Giants don’t look to be in much better shape. At least the New York Yankees are going to make the playoffs this year.

There is no denying the best basketball talent in the world is American born. LeBron James, Steph Curry, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Kahwi Leonard, Anthony Davis, and the list goes on. The problem for Team USA in this year’s FIBA World Cup was that none of the aforementioned suited up in red, white and blue. Despite an all-star coaching staff, Team USA rolled out a C-level team in China. Coming into the tournament with a 58-game unbeaten streak, Team USA breezed through group play with a 5-0 record. They were led by the likes of Donovan Mitchell, Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown, Harrison Barnes, Jayson Tatum, among other second and third tier NBA “stars.” Is that a roster good enough to win an international competition? Maybe.  But if the big dogs were on the court, it never would have been in doubt. USA encountered France in the quarter finals and were beaten 89-78. On paper, the talent levels match up, but the chemistry these other big basketball countries (France, Spain, Serbia, Australia, Canada) have with their teams is much better than that of the US team. In the game against France, it showed. The loss would have been more shocking if team USA had their big ballers, but they didn’t.  Losing to Serbia a day later in the consolation bracket was also not very shocking given that players, at that point, were ready to go home. Can we fault this version of Team USA for not bringing home a title? Not really. Hopefully, it inspired the best of the best to put on the jersey and represent the best basketball nation in the world on the international stage next time.
The former power couple of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have six children together, four of whom were theirs and two were adopted by Jolie. Maddox and his sister Zahara were adopted by Jolie in 2006 from Cambodia and now Maddox is off to college in South Korea. The 18 year old was interviewed on the campus of Yonsei University and had some interesting things to say about his dad, Brad. While claiming his siblings are excited about the fact he is attending college, when asked about his dad coming to visit him, Maddox said “I don’t know about that.” As the interviewer pressed more, Maddox answered, “Whatever happens, happens,” an answer that doesn’t speak of a good relationship with his father. On the positive side, it has been rumored that Brad and Angie are on much better terms now, which is a great thing for all their children. Hopefully the relationship between Brad and Maddox can be repaired as the teenager learns what college life is like abroad. Jolie, for her part, was seen on an Instagram video in tears when she dropped off her son at the school.
Thousands of young Americans are in a deep hole because of student debt.  They are desperately trying to dig themselves out of the economic trap presented by the debt. It makes them a slave to their job and stops them from taking entrepreneurial chances, it effects whether or not they marry and start a family.  New families buy houses, furniture and lots of stuff, which puts money back into the economy. That was lost on Republican lawmaker Bill Posey of Florida when he questioned Hassan Minhaj, a comedian and Netflix host. Minaj explained that student loan debt is putting a “paywall” around young Americans, and that as a result, many are stuck on the sidelines. He went on the say that young people are asking celebrities to help pay off their student loans. Minaj asked Congressman Posey, “Are you a fan of Taylor Swift? Are you a Swiftie? Posey was lost.  Manaj continued, “Because even her fans have gone up to her and said would you pay back my student loans. That’s how desperate student borrowers are…They’re not even asking for selfies anymore.”  Minhaj’s testimony was done in good conscience and good humor, but it’s not clear how well it was received by Congress. The bottom line here is that student debt is a major issue for thousands upon thousands and is holding many back from making significant contributions to our society. America needs to take a hard look at this crisis to figure out how to better serve and educate the future of our nation.

It’s hard to imagine a movie ever being called something other than its famous name. Truth be told, many movies were named one thing, only to be changed when the marketing team steps in. Since the title can make or break a film, all titles are working titles until a final decision is made – sometimes at the last moment. Here are the working titles for 10 movies we could not imagine named differently:

1. Psycho

Psycho was originally called Wimpy

2. American Pie

American Pie was originally called Comfort Food

3. Batman: The Dark Knight

The Dark Knight was originally called Rory’s First Kiss

4. Bring It On

Bring It On was originally called American Girls

5. Boys Don’t Cry

Boys Don’t Cry was originally called Take It Like A Man

6. Pulp Fiction

Pulp Fiction was originally called Black Mask

7. ET

ET was originally called A Boys Life

8. Titanic

Titanic was originally called Planet Ice

9. Casablanca

Casablanca was originally called Everybody Come To Rick’s

10. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was originally called Head Cheese

Imagine if some of these movies had stuck with their original names? An iconic title like Titanic or Casablanca might never have been.  Not to mention that naming a scary movie Head Cheese was never a good idea – even as a working title. Thankfully, there were smarter people in the room to dub these films with title we know them as today.

October is right around the corner. Dust off the Halloween decorations, put the final touches on the costumes and get ready for all the scary movies coming to television and streaming services. While the common Halloween activities are fun, there’s nothing quite like playing a scary video game. The interactive unpredictability of a scary video game is unmatched compared to watching a scary movie. Ever had a zombie sneak up out of nowhere and bite you in Resident Evil?  If you have, you know what we mean. In honor of Halloween, we take a look at the top 5 scary video games and series.

1. Resident Evil Series

Long time no see! This series is the epitome of an interactive scary video game. You’re fighting off challenging zombies with various weapons you’ve picked up throughout your survival adventure and you’re finding herbs to heal wounds. Tip: Be careful when walking around corners.

2. Read Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare

A little twist from the regular Read Dead series, this edition features zombies … what else?! The zombies are incredibly real looking even though zombies technically aren’t real. These zombies have serious speed and make crazy sounds. Enjoy with the lights off if you dare.

3. Blair Witch

You saw the movie, now you get to play the video game. Travel through the rigors of Black Hills Forest with your trusty steed as a police officer named Ellis.

4. Silent Hill 2

Sequels are rarely better than the original, but in this case, Silent Hill 2 challenges that belief. It’s an old game, but it never seems to get old. Spooky scenery, disturbing characters, creepy sounds, tricky puzzles and mazes, Silent Hill 2 will keep you up late for all the right and wrong reasons.

5. Call of Duty Series (Zombie Mode)

Zombies seem to be a common across this list and why not, they’re scary! The zombie game mode of this first person shooter can go on forever depending on how well your squad sets up. The scariest part might be when you must start back at level one after hours upon hours of work / play.
